Sirubari village Tour

Sirubari village is a totally unspoiled Gurung settlement in the hills at 1700 meters above sea level and short drive / walk (soft adventure) from Pokhara. The climate is ideal at any time during the September to June season with warm days and cool nights. This program is especially designed to know the locals and their culture staying in an unspoiled village atmosphere living as a family member. You will be welcomed into the community and invited to stay in the home of one of the village families.

The accommodation is simple but comfortable with good bedding and clean toilet (not attached one) facilities. The food is delicious and you will be eating as one of the family. Each night there will be entertainment provided by the community. This will be in the form of traditional Gurung and Nepali dancing and singing, you can join in if you like. During your stay you will be able to feel what is like to live the life of a Nepali villager.

Itinerary in Detail

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel

Day 2: After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Bhaktapur city.

Day 3: After breakfast drive approx 6 hrs. to Pokhara. Arrive Pokhara and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4: After breakfast proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Pokhara city including Devi’s fall, Gupteshwore Mahadev cave, Seti River, Bindhyabasani temple and Barahi temple with one hour boating on Phewa lake.

Day 5: After breakfast drive to Sirubari via Badkhola, Darau.

Day 6: Depart village on foot for mountain views and sunrise at Thumro.

Day 7: Breakfast with family and meet group at gompa for farewell ceremony.

Day 8: Transfer to airport for Pokhara / Kathmandu flight. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 9: Free in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Transfer to airport for departure flight.
